What Is CBP

What Is CBP (E.A.T.) or Chiropractic BioPhysics®?

  • Following a scientific analysis of your posture and the curvature of your spine, we will create a treatment plan based on your deficits, to restore proper alignment, relieve pain, and improve function. Your treatment plan may include a variety of tested and proven CBP techniques, including adjustment, exercise, and traction, or what is termed "Spinal Remodeling".
  • Your spine houses your nervous system, the most delicate and important organ system, responsible for your day to day bodily functions. From your immune, cardiovascular, and digestive system through to mobility, your nerves are responsible for sending vital information and energy from the brain to your organs through your spine.

Posture Is the Point

Correct Your Posture and Live a Healthier, More Active Life

At the Spine & Scoliosis Clinic, we care about your spine and nervous system, and use the best equipment possible to diagnose your spinal biomechanics. Whether you need to get out of pain, avoid a spinal surgery, or are interested in prolonging an active lifestyle, we can help you. We never cut corners and always do what is best for you and your posture. You can trust that we will take care of you.

Correct posture is at the core of the Chiropractic BioPhysics method of treatment. The curves in your spine act as levers, shock absorbers, and resistance to gravity. They also protect and reduce the forces acting on the spinal cord and nerve tissues.

Gravity, age, poor posture, improper physical activity, injury, and disease can all play a role in the misalignment of your spinal curves and, as a result, your entire body.

The E.A.T. Protocol

Every Visit Follows E.A.T.

Exercise, adjustment, and traction, in that order, every visit. It is the combination that makes a correction hold instead of fading before you are back.

  • Exercise Targeted movement on vibration and power plates wakes up the muscles that hold your spine where it should be.
  • Adjustment Precise impulse or drop-table adjustments restore healthy motion and alignment, chosen for your body.
  • Traction Mechanical traction guides your spine back toward its natural curve, so the correction holds.
The T in E.A.T.

Mechanical Traction

An adjustment restores motion. Traction is what teaches your spine to hold the new position once you walk out the door, and it is the piece most clinics skip.

Mechanical traction gently guides your spine and overall posture back toward its natural curve. It is slow, comfortable work, and it is the reason a correction lasts instead of sliding back before your next visit. Your traction setup is chosen for your curve and adjusted as you progress, so what you are doing in week ten is not what you started with.

  • Guides your spine toward its normal curve, not just a temporary release
  • Set up for your specific curve and reviewed as you improve
  • Comfortable, drug-free, and done right here in the clinic
  • Works with exercise and adjustment as one protocol, not three add-ons
